Last week I flew to Belgrade and spent few days in Novi Sad, capital of the Vojvodina province in Northern part of Serbia. Even with a busy schedule, we got the chance to visit the Petrovaradin Fortress built between 1692 and 1780.

We also passed by Karlovci where the peace treaty ending the Austro-Ottoman war (1683-1697) was signed and visited some of Fruska Gora monasteries.
